This is meant to be information and entertainment for the pet loves and owners out there. I have been around pets most of my life and have learned a lot of information and pet tips that I hope you find useful.    Good Pet food and love can make for a healthy and happy pet. They also need to play and cuddle. Dogs and Cats are not meant to be kept outside all the time. Many pets need to be inside and with people or other animals for love and attention. Animals love to be cuddled and part of the family. They are like kids in ways of wanting attention and love it when we play with them. Social interaction is very important to keep them happy.

      Some Veterinarians are so programmed to tell us the main stream foods and such that even during the recalls of pet food in March of 2007 a VET I spoke with to confirm my dietary information told I should use Science diet. I had ran my dietary information and homemade pet food recipes by many other Vets and animal experts. That was the most disturbing words I had heard from any of them. I TOLD HER JUST BECAUSE THEIR DRY FOOD WAS NOT ON THE DANGER PET FOOD RECALL LIST AT THE TIME DID NOT MEAN IT WAS NOT COMING. I TOLD HER NOT TO TELL PEOPLE THAT BECAUSE I WAS SURE SOON IT WAS GOING TO BE ON THE MAJOR PET FOOD RECALL LIST SINCE THEY ALSO USED MENU FOODS. In fact if you are only looking into the brand name when you buy pet foods you could be giving your pet unsafe pet foods. They should really look to see what is in Science diet by looking into the pet food ingredients! Science Diet may be well marketed and a known brand of pet food but, it is not the best food to feed your pet. I would never give it to my cat! In  lots of commercial pet foods they pack them full of preservatives and fillers that are not only unnecessary but unhealthy for your cats and dogs. They do this to expand the shelf life of pet foods.

       Not to state the obvious but, the meat by products and things you see listed are not quality meat and ingredients in pet foods. In many pet foods they have things listed under strange names to try to confuse people. Pets do not live as long as they should when they are being fed commercial pet foods due to dangerous ingredients in pet food. I will tell you here what I have been feeding my baby kitten or shall we say cat. I have check every ingredient to with over 100  licensed Veterinarians and not all just in Texas, Florida, Missouri and Kansas. Every single ingredient listed in the pet food recipes I listed on my Safe Pet Foods webpage's have been confirmed to be healthy and safe for cat food and dog food recipes that I have put together. I also contacted many other Animal Hospitals and other licensed pet experts all over the USA. to be sure that I was giving the best information. Some may try  to sell me dangerous foods they carry in their veterinary offices. Keep in mind that you should look into all the ingredients that goes into EVERY thing you feed your pets. Not every VET will tell you the same cat foods are safe or same dog foods are safe and healthy for your pets. Most veterinarians do not even answer their own phones but, have assistants and hired help that at times may not have a clue what they are talking about. Speak directly to more than one vet for any pet advise. Confirm everything at least 20 times and research into EVERY SINGLE INGREDIENT that goes in your pets food always.

     I am giving the best advise possible on safe and healthy pet food and food products here to the best of my ability. If you ask what cat foods and dog foods are safe today or ever I can not honestly feel good about recommending many of the pet foods in stores or on the market today. I hope to tell you the best and healthy safe pet food in my opinion is homemade food for the replacement of can pet foods especially. Safe cat food and dog food products are important. This is free pet recipes for you and your pets. I am doing this more for the animals than the people in ways. I guess you could say that I am an animal lover from birth and it breaks my hear to see sick or dying pets. I want to try to pass on all the knowledge that I can on safe and unsafe pet foods and products. Read the pet alerts and recalled pet foods from the past and any current pet alerts on pet products and foods that I add over time.

    I have always tried to put the most updated and inside information to keep all pet safe but, over the years that my page will be up in the future I can not always promise that I will be the first to post things online anymore. I work on many projects and things at one time to try to make a decent living and have less time spent sleeping and doing nothing than the average person. I can only say that if you follow the links on my website you will find many interesting and useful  pet care information and articles ect. I do research heavy into any pet information before I post it online or publish it anywhere in print. Keep in mind this is all free information to help you and your pets. I do not think that people should have to spend money to gain information online. The internet should also be a place where not just everyone can advise on things of pet health. Sadly it is not that way from what I have found. Some pet advise I have found online scared the hell out of me. Be very careful of anything you read and hear in the USA and online. Just because it is on the news or media here does not always make it correct. The things they do not tell the public are just as dangerous if not more so than some of the lies or fabrications they try to spread.
