Please before you even start to make home made or homemade dog food read the warnings on human foods and things that are not healthy or safe for dogs!       This page has safe pet food recipe's for homemade dog food. Home made puppy food or dog foods that are healthy and safe for dogs to eat. This page is dedicated to your dog and has pet care and cat information on our pages. I am also a pet owner and have what I feel is the best cat in all the world. The most loving and sweet kitten ever. This page has been created with cat love and with love for all cats and dogs. I have made the pet food recipe page and shared the cat and dog food recipes all free for you pets. I also have created a page of dog food recipes to share dog foods and recipe's for dogs to have also safe and healthy dog food. The pages on this section and through my websites are all free pet recipe's and information. I hope you will take the time to check the pet alerts on unsafe pet products, pet food recall lists and pet food recalls. It is so sad that the things we sometimes feed our pets are not as healthy as the commercial pet food companies would like you to think. I feel it is about time we treat our pets as our children. I have always thought of them as that but, sadly not everyone in life feels this way. If you have time to cook for your family then why not cook for the furry ones in your family also. They deserve safe and healthy meals and foods just as much as the people. In face the foods and things we give our pets should be very healthy and keep them alive longer. Cats and Dogs should not been seen as old at the age of 16 or so in human years. This is crazy. It was not that way before so, why should we believe it is normal for them to get old and die at such early ages! Let us all make safe and healthy foods to keep our pets alive for at least 20 years. This is not so hard to do and it should be something we enjoy doing.

Home Made Pet Foods (Homemade Pet Food) The pet food recipe's below are proven if followed to be safe and the alternative to commercial pet foods.

Chicken, Rice & Veggies Recipe for Cats & Dogs

  • COOK 2 cups of boneless chicken breast well.  (if there is a little juice from chicken fat after cooking save 1 Teaspoon of it.)

  • Grind COOKED chicken breast.

  • COOK 1 1/2 Cups or 2 Cups of PLAIN BROWN RICE.

  • Steam 1/4th cup of minced or or chopped Peas. Cooked fresh (not from a can if you can get them other wise.)

  • After all are cooked put the Chicken and Brown Rice together in a Blender and blend well. (Do not blend peas with those two.)

  • If peas or minced or blended separate make sure they are small parts and not whole. Then put the peas over the chicken and rice. (You can mix it or stir it all together a little to make it more appealing to your cat.) If you have a teaspoon of the fat juices the chicken was cooked it you can pour that over the meal as a safe type of gravy for your cat.

  • Obviously make sure it is not too hot when your serving your pet her healthy gourmet pet food meal.

  • This meal will be simple and worth the effort. It is said to be a very tasty and healthy meal with nutritional values your pet needs.

Home Made Dog Food Recipe (Homemade Pet Foods from Zolaente) The pet food recipe's below are proven if followed to be safe and the alternative to commercial pet foods. You may want to give your dog a variety of meals and switch them off a times so, they do not have the same meat and veggies daily.

Chicken Surprise Dog Food Recipe

  • Boil 2 1/2 LBS of Chicken livers and gizzards (or substitute for boneless chicken breasts) COOK all meat well!

  • When the meat is cooked all through drain the liquid.

  • Steam 1 cup of green beans then dice them (chop them in small parts)

  • Add 1 Cup of brown or white rice (brown rice has more nutritional value than white rice for dogs.)

  • After all are cooked put the Chicken, Rice, & green beans in a blender & blend well.

  • Never serve your dog food that is too hot. Try to wait for it to cool so it is just warm or almost room temp.

Keep in mind that dogs can have beef but, it is not as easy for them to digest. Pork and ham is also ok but, chicken is said to be very healthy for them also. Try to give them a variety of meals. Keep in mind you can mix and match veggies like green beans, corn, and peas for them but, always check with a vet to ok foods if you are planning to make your own homemade pet foods. Dogs love meats but, they also need about 50% or 60% of their meals to include rice and about 10% or less on the veggies. The other percent should be organic meats or the most healthy of them. These were to give you an idea on what you can prepare for them to have safe homemade cat foods. I will try to add more to this later but, be sure to include healthy and nutritional meals for your dog when you are cooking. I sadly have little time that I am not working so for me to write a book or novel on pet foods online is not so easy. I hope that some of this was of help and when I have time I hope to add more free and healthy pet food information and recipes.
